ITari Civerolo is a dance artist with a background in classical ballet who is currently interested in creating contemporary work.

Informed by her own life experiences and background in gender studies, her work often features (queer) women and explores their relationship to themselves, each other, and the space around them. During the rehearsal process, she encourages dancers to share feedback, collaborate with each other, and create genuine connections to deepen investment in the piece. Her approach to choreography begins with generating short, gestural phrases, which she then manipulates and overlays with an emotional narrative.
