Mariah Van Kleef
Intersection Artist
Based out of Charlotte, NC, Mariah Van Kleef and her band present a surreal blend of gritty, global, and mythic influences from near and far: dreamy, shapeshifting, noir-rock with elements of Bossa Nova, Nordic ambience and Middle Eastern groove. On lead guitar: Jason Cline. J. Michael Scriven on percussion. Korey Dudley on upright bass. They add distinct levels of potency to Van Kleef’s ‘Siren-esque’ songwork, beckoning you into seriously hypnotic territory.
The band was formed in 2023 but they have been professional musicians, each in our own right, for about a decade.
