Play More Charlotte hosts events designed to help adults in Charlotte find safety, joy, and community through play, silliness, and nostalgia. The flagship event, Grown-Up Play Day, is a large-scale gathering featuring a gorgeous array of diverse community partners and local vendors, offering between 15 and 20 playful activations exclusively for adults.

The organization also hosts smaller recurring events, such as the popular Sticker Club for Grown-Ass Adults, and frequently appears at other creative events with parachute games, a ball pit, a bubble bar, or a kandi bracelet bar. The Play More Charlotte community has grown rapidly and is diverse across generations, racial backgrounds, ability levels, and gender expressions.

In its first year and a half, Play More Charlotte has collaborated with organizations including Blumenthal, TAOH Outdoor Gallery, Activation Studios, HOMEplxce Retreats, T4T, Makers & Mics, Craft Fest, Charlotte Shout, Edgefest, Charlotte Is Creative, Black Gamer League, and many other community groups that share a vision for a joyful, inclusive Charlotte.
