"Echo Chamber" is a C3 creative choreography that explores the female competitive nature in the dance community. It'll unpack the fear of stepping out of your comfort zone and the envy it triggers in your female counterparts when the risk pays off. The concept of the 'echo chamber' refers to the bubble one creates to protect themselves from their truth and refusal to expand for fear of failure or judgement. It'll also make references to the Greek mythology of Narcissus and Echo's story and the morality of ego and the tired idea of 'imitation is the sincerest form of flattery'.
